Painting Therapy for Adults
In a private setting or in a small group
Painting itself has a soothing and healing effect. Through creative work, you can also process personal issues and reduce emotional distress.
In contrast to talk therapy, the therapeutic process unfolds through creative work with images.
Painting therapy can be helpful in the following ways:
-
Clarifying your thoughts and feelings
-
Working on relationships
-
Coping with stress
-
Dealing with fear
-
Psychosomatic disorders, sleep disorders
-
Crisis management
-
Processing trauma
-
Support in personal development processes
-
Strengthening your self-confidence
-
Practicing mindfulness
No prior artistic experience is required. It's not about creating a work of art. The goal is to process personal topics and emotions that are on your mind.
As a LOM© and POM© certified painting therapist of the Institute for Humanistic Art Therapy (IHK), I adhere to the quality standards of OdA ARTECURA , the umbrella organization of Swiss professional associations for therapies with artistic media.

Learn More about Painting Therapy
Painting therapy is a non-verbal form of therapy that works through action and directly addresses personal experience. The therapeutic process unfolds through creative work with images.
Painting allows you to connect with yourself and your behavior, gaining valuable insights. It also provides a safe environment to explore new approaches and develop fresh perspectives that can positively impact your daily life.
I will accompany and support you in your painting and in your process.
A picture is a picture. The art works and their content are not symbols and are neither interpreted nor evaluated by me.
